Your Mission (If you choose to accept it) … is to be a technical lead on our service team, from helping architect solutions, to overseeing their implementation, to being a last line of defense for our service desk.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide world class IT support to our clients and their employees
  • Assist our Service Desk with escalated, high priority, or security event service tickets
  • Assist with pre-sale engineering performing system design and effort estimates as required.
  • Act as a project lead for our clients IT implementation projects, be they small or large.
  • Work with all personnel, outside contacts and vendors, to satisfy client needs and achieve company goals
  • Identify areas of improvement for our clients and assist in creating and implementing the best solutions

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Provide support required to close service tickets promptly, within the SLA and to the satisfaction of the client
  • Provide detailed SLA debrief and reports of services calls for future enhancements

Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Windows Server administration (Active Directory Group Policy & Powershell Scripting a must)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Cloud administration (Office 365 & Azure experience a must)
  • Proficiency in Virtualization Platform administration (VMware ESX or relavant experience a must)
  • Proficiency in Basic Routing, Switching, WAN, VPN, and other infrastructure technologies
  • Proficiency in Firewall technologies (WatchGuard or relevant SMB firewall experience a plus)
  • Proficiency in Switching technologies (Experience with VLANs, QoS, and other advanced switching techologies is important)
  • Proficiency in Wireless technologies (WatchGuard or relevant SMB manufacturer experience a plus)
  • Proficiency in Backup & Disaster Recovery technologies (Axcient or Snapshot based experience)
  • Proficiency in IT Security technologies (EDR & SIEM experience a plus)
  • Experienced in systems design, planning, and implementation
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and an ability to self organize

Education:
Associate's degree (A. A.) or better from an accredited college or technical school or 3+ years of related experience in a Microsoft network environment. 

Transportation:
A qualified applicant will have a valid drivers license, reliable car, and proper car insurance. This position will require travel no greater than 1 hour from our offices in Mt. Pleasant, WI up to a few days a week depending on project needs and workload.
