We are currently looking for a Product Service Engineer.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

The Product Service Engineer will be responsible for working with Twin Disc Customers and Internal departments to analyze and resolve product service issues.  The position is also responsible for new product installations and development and delivery of technical service training programs, technical publications, and service manuals.

We are looking for people who can:
Provide mechanical and/or electrical engineering product support to customers or distributors on new product installations or field failures.  Support may be delivered remotely from the office or in the field as required.

  • Draft detailed reports on product installations or service situations including failure analysis, plans for corrective action, or recommendations for product enhancements.  Work with Product and Test Engineers as well as customer resources to follow up on any open issues as needed.
  • Coordinate communications pertaining to Product Service and installations in response to individual service questions.
  • Design and deliver technical service training programs to qualified personnel.  On occasion deliver training at customer sites.  Develop service manuals.
  • Be knowledgeable on all products, product changes and new products with regards to design, applications, operation and installation and changes to service manuals.
  • Travel up to 35% as needed to support field service.
  • Work harmoniously, cooperatively and courteously with others at all times.

We are looking for people whose background includes:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with 5 years’ experience preferred or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience with mechanical/hydraulic products.

And for people with the following technical expertise:

  • Aptitude and ability to understand and use hand tools and special purposing tooling.
  • Working knowledge of personal computers and standard programs with an ability to learn new programs.
  • Knowledge of JDE Enterprise One recommended.
