Full Time
- Supervise and maintain adequate staffing and inventory levels to support activities and cleaning schedules in an economical manner.
Coordinate, comprehend and perform all phases of building cleaning in accordance with the Building Service Work Guide.
Coordinate and complete safety inspections and preventative maintenance on heating, ventilation and other building related equipment.
Perform basic maintenance and minor repairs on equipment assigned to the building including greasing/oiling changing filters, etc.
Snow removal as required to maintain a safe environment for all building occupants.
Provide verbal or written reports on sub-standard employee performance and equipment issues.
Assume other duties as directed by Facilities Supervisors

- Ability to operate and navigate computers with Microsoft operating systems, including but not limited to Microsoft Office, Gmail and Internet
- Good Attendance: Ability to report to work regularly, arriving and leaving on time.
- Must have no active disciplinary actions
Required
Speak, read and write English.
Successful completion of course in basic supervisory training.
Valid WI Driver License, 2nd class ASoPE and City of Racine Stationary Engineer License.
Two years of experience as a custodian or equivalent experience.
Ability to display necessary initiative and dependability to work alone or in groups. Must be able to schedule work effectively.
Good physical condition, ability to lift 50 pounds on a repetitive basis and 75 pounds periodically, push and pull on repetitive basis, work in adverse weather conditions
Years of experience, documented practical work experience and successful completion of the interview process will be basis of position award. If all qualifications are not met, the school district may assist the most qualified applicant with developing a plan for achieving them.
Desirable
Certification in Environmental Service Operations, Technical College in related field or documented practical work experience
Two years as head or lead person in a school environment or equivalent position
