We are looking for an Assistant Salon Manager to assist the Salon Manager and Salon Owners, be responsible for our salon’s day-to-day operations while on scheduled shifts, and provide awesome services to our guests.

Assistant Manager responsibilities include supervising staff and operations while Salon Manager is unavailable, performing and promoting our offered services, and helping the manager and owners make educated service and product decisions. The 2 salon owners are sisters that will handle most of the business admin work, and we are looking for a licensed manager that wants creative freedom in their work with clients and is excited about the opportunity to help manage a business. This is ideally a full time position, but we are open to part time employment.

Ultimately, you will help boost client satisfaction and increase salon revenues.

Responsibilities

• Provide great services to our guests with your technical and product knowledge. 
• Support business owners in product and service decisions
• Oversee daily salon operations on scheduled days
• Train and coach stylists when asked
• Assist owners with recruiting stylists and clients
• Order supplies when needed
• Notify owners when there is a need for maintenance services 
• Ensure salon meets cleanliness and hygiene standards of WI Cosmetology Board
• Ensure all beauty treatments meet high quality standards
• Promote services, products and discounts
• Receive and process payments from clients and assist stylists with questions

Requirements and skills

• MUST hold a valid WI Cosmetology License
• Strong knowledge of salon treatments and products 
• Excellent organizational skills
• Ability to handle customers’ requests and complaints with grace
• Strong leadership ability
