Provide clerical support for the school office. Bilingual preferred

RESPONSIBILITIES

Essential Functions:
1. Provide clerical support for various RUSD student programs and related student records on Infinite Campus.
2. Utilize the district mainframe and/or Infinite Campus system to access and maintain student data.
3. Perform clerical functions, i.e., typing and word processing, filing, copying, and answering phones.
4. Distribute mail and IMC materials as assigned.
5. Process stock requisitions and maintain stock inventory.
6. Distribute medication and perform first aid when nurse is not available.
7. Assist secretary and principal as needed (including textbook and equipment inventory).

QUALIFICATIONS

Education/Training:
High school diploma or equivalent, plus computer skills including, but not limited to, word processing and data entry, Microsoft Word and Excel. Infinite Campus training required. LAWSON or comparable corporate financial system training is required.

Experience:
Two (2) or more years in a general office setting (school office experience helpful) and Bilingual

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
1. Good communication and interpersonal skills.
2. Good clerical skills, i.e., typing, knowledge and use of various office machines, including computerized equipment.
3. Good organization and prioritization skills.
4. Must have good attendance.
5. Knowledge and ability to operate LAWSON or comparable corporate financial system and Infinite Campus.
6. Ability and skills to work with irate people.

WORKING CONDITIONS

Pleasant office setting; however, this position may occasionally have to work with irate parents/guardians.
