We are currently seeking an Accounting Associate to assist with a variety of administrative support duties in our Accounting Department. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who enjoys working independently and is organized, detail-oriented, flexible, and open to cross-training of other accounting positions.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage customer vehicle maintenance program including liaison between corporate customer and their franchisees, processing reimbursement requests, maintaining vehicle service records.
- Assist with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and the general ledger.
- Work with Logistics Manager on department payroll, vehicle delivery schedule, and reconciling driver expenditures.
- Accounting Department data entry tasks.
- Miscellaneous clerical duties including filing and reception back-up.
- Work on Accounting projects that vary throughout the year.
- Provide back-up phone coverage to Receptionist.
Knowledge and Skills Required:
- 5 years of related work experience.
- Cloud-based document scanning software or similar experience.
- Basic Accounting knowledge required.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.
- Comfortable interacting with customers.
- Professional and positive attitude.
- Detail oriented and accuracy in data recording.
