Express Employment has partnered with one of the largest privately-held US brokerage firm, and they are currently seeking Vice President of Business Development- Commercial Producer for a prestigious firm offers comprehensive risk management services, specializing in insurance and reinsurance placement for Property & Casualty, Employee Benefits, Private Client Services, along with consulting and financial & wealth management solutions.
This is a direct hire opportunity with excellent benefits and competitive compensation, based on experience. This is a hybrid role that requires physical presence at both the Milwaukee and Madison office locations from time to time.
As a Producer, your primary responsibility will be to utilize your prospecting and networking skills to drive new business and growth opportunities. You will also play a crucial role in advising clients on asset protection, benefit offerings, and liability minimization.
Role as VP of Business Development-Commercial Lines Producer:
- Business Development: Utilize your prospecting and networking skills to create and manage a robust sales pipeline. Lead the sales process from initial contact through closing, consistently transitioning prospects into long-term clients.
- Demonstrating track record of developing sales pipelines, leading sales processes, transitioning prospects into clients, and further deepening client relationships with new revenue initiatives
- Client Advisory: Advise clients on strategies for asset protection, benefit offerings, and liability minimization, ensuring their needs are met with tailored solutions.
- Relationship Management: Engage with key decision-makers within current accounts to identify cross-selling opportunities, thereby deepening client relationships and solidifying your role as a trusted advisor.
- Persistent promotor of driving revenue through sales with emphasis on mid-large size companies, C-SUITE, High Net Worth individuals, and organizations with growth potential
- Revenue Growth: Drive revenue through targeted sales efforts, focusing on mid to large-sized companies, high-net-worth individuals, and organizations with significant growth potential.
- Sales Strategy: Develop and implement individual business plans and production budgets, ensuring a methodical and strategic approach to sales.
- Lead Generation: Leverage your peer network and Center of Influence relationships to generate leads and expand your area of specialty.
- Technology Utilization: Embrace and integrate technology into the sales process to enhance efficiency and client engagement.
- Research & Networking: Proactively utilize research tools to identify and connect with potential prospects, building a professional network that supports business growth.
- Team Leadership: Lead a service team to deliver superior programs and maintain the highest level of service, fostering a collaborative approach to achieving business objectives.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5+ years of documented sales success within the Commercial, Employee Benefits, and/or Private Client INSURANCE industries.
- Sales Acumen: Demonstrated ability to exceed sales targets with a strong business acumen, strategic reasoning, and results-driven motivation.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to deliver both formal presentations and impromptu pitches with credibility and professionalism.
- Persistence: A relentless attitude toward achieving sales goals and driving business growth.
